Default The new chewable birth control, Can I take it?

So, there is a new chewable birth control on the market!
I was told before surgery that I wouldn't be able to take a birth control pill because it doesn't absorb it correctly.

Now, i'm wondering if this new chewable one i'll be able to take?
What do you guys think/know?

I suppose I can ask my surgeon at my one year meeting, but I want to see if you guys know anything first =]

Here is the website.

I have no idea. I'd ask your surgeon what they thought perhaps. I don't deal with birth control issues much in pediatrics. lol

First off let me say your avatar ROCKS Blair. You look great. I was wondering the same thing. It being a chewable tablet would allow it to absorb better for an individual in our situation. To be on the safe side take this information to your Ob and your surgeon and see what they think and then take it from there.

It is called Femcon Fe. It is said to have a spearment taste.

I take it, well actually I took it...my doctor took me off all BC to clean out my system of hormones because I was having a period every 2 weeks.. You can chew or swallow it. I just swallowed it like normal.
