Lisa, I hope I don't offend, but is there another PSurgen is your area? I am worried about the results you've shown us. This one and some other TTs you've posted. Remember, you're going to live with these results forever. Some Docs really are artists, some are not. Anyway, please forgive me if I offened, but you are worth the BEST!

Hey, thats why I come here...for truth. No my doc is not a plastic surgeon, and here, the medical covers panni removal, not cosmetic surgery. I know what the expectations are and the outcomes. Is it ideal...no....its not the prettiest tummy around, but I really don't want to spend 10 grand on my belly...one of which most will never see.
I contemplated a variety of options. I know the results that I posted are not wonderful, but they are the reality.

Van, Its funny you said this, I still have my daughter's shriveled up umbilical cord as well (she will be 5 in July). I thought I was the only one in the world who did this. Guess there's enough "werido" to go around for both of us.

Hmmmm, a particular scene from the movie "Meet the Parents" comes to mind.

Good Luck mlavaritt... You will get a much warmer welcome if you hop over to the Introduce yourself section.. this thread was a poll for one of us looking into plastic surgery. We would love to hear more about where you are, your doc, see a pic!! Welcome!

Lisa, all day I've been thinking I should have PMed you instead of posting that. So I'm glad you took it in the spirit it was intended. I see you've thought it through and know what's best for you. Best of luck in June, and goodbye panni!

Jen, no worries at all. I am fully open to feedback from those here.
I have tentitively decided - well maybe decided (but I do have 3 weeks to change my mind!) that I...........
Am NOT keeping the belly button. I think having the scar there will be enough and having the button will only make it harder and then the possibility of infections and such are higher....so for now...thats how she goes.

Feb. 5 I had hernia repair and panni removal. The ps didn't give me my BB and you know what ??? I miss it. Never thought I would but I do. When I feel like I have an "itch" there is no place to scratch..I'm hoping I will get over it but ..shrug.. Guess if I go back for some more plastics maybe I'll get a new one...JMO
