Default I have kind of a stupid question...

I JUST introduced myself, so I'm sure not many people have any idea who I am, but I have one question that's kind of been burning...

And it's really stupid, so please don't laugh. :P haha

Now... I have chubby hands. Like a baby's hands. Chubby digits, ya know?

I want to know... do your HANDS and FINGERS shrink after the RNY? Because I want to eventually be able to wear a ring one day. :P

Yes Doll, your hands will shrink, so will your arms and face and neck and feet and, well you get the drift.

Welcome to the group and no question is stupid!

There is no such thing as a stupid question! My fingers went from a 9 91/2 to a 6 6/12! The cool thing is I can go into a jewlery shop and just put the rings on my finger and not have to worry about them getting stuck! Plus the fact that I wouldn't have to have it sized I could walk out with it the same day if I wanted. Don't worry you will be able to wear a ring!

Heh, I'm only two months out and already I'm wearing rings that I used to wear on my ring finger on my middle and index fingers! I've even ordered some ring size adjusters so I don't lose rings I really love! I've been surprised at where my weight is coming off, actually -- I had this annoying pad of fat on the left side of my right knee, and it's almost gone -- my knees are now almost symmetrical! WOOT!

I'm actually not terribly upset with my legs. From carrying around 300+ pounds my entire life, my calfs are pretty muscular (which I'm sure will shrink after surgery). I carry most of my weight in my abdomen. But again, I have never been thin, so I have NO IDEA what my legs will ACTUALLY look like once I lose weight. :P
