Question Post-Op Pregnancy Section

I know I have brought this up a couple of times but wanted to know how you guys felt about us having an post-op pregnancy section. I wrote John to ask him what he thought about it and if it would be OK.

My angel is 6 months now and I have been struggling with getting back on track and I never really post my struggles because I know there isn't a place I can really post what I am going through. I also noticed there are a couple of woman of here who are pregnant and who need support. There isn't a lot of information about post-op pregnancy and just thought this would be a great place to start offerring some type of information from the woman who have walked the walk. What do you guys think.

Thank you for responding. I am kind of disappointed not to many people have offered their input or vote but I guess all I can do is ask and put it out there. If any post-op pregnancy ladies need any support of advice please feel free to contact me.

I think it's a great idea. I haven't had any babies YET, but plan to in a year or so. Married or not. I'm getting old and the clock is tick tick ticking! I think it would be awesome to be able to go and read about things that happened with other WLS peeps who had or are having babies!

Thank you guys for responding, I thought for a minute what I was fighting for was a lost cause. It is hard losing the weight post-op pregnancy but to come to the forum and feel like you really don't have anyone or anywhere that can relate or vent and talk about it kind of sucks. So thank you for taking the time out to vote and voice your opinions. They mean a lot. Hopefully if we get the section it will be very helpful to those coming behind us who have babies already post-op.

Again, pending approval.

If this is approved, however, it will not be an independent category of the forum. It will appear under the Post-Op category as "Pregnancy" - similar to "Recipes" in the Nutrition category.

I voted yes.. my second reason for surgery.. to have a baby! So I would love to have a specific section in about 18-20 months to come see what to do to do it right!
