Default Things are moving this week...

I have an appointment with the sleep study doctor on Tuesday--with any luck they will quickly reschedule me for my sleep study. I had it scheduled once before but then the base said that I needed to talk to the doctor first to see if she finds it necessary to do the study. It's alright though. I will get it rescheduled, no worries. I also received my referral letter for my psych evaluation on Friday! I will call in the a.m. and take first available appointment, insurance hasn't approved surgery yet but they have approved all of these things so I am on the right road.

Also, I have informed both of my parents of my intentions and they are both a bit weary/leery of me having this surgery. They both say "you don't need it! Try going to the gym!" etc... I totally expected this response from them but I know they will support whatever I choose to do. There is not much they can say or do about it anyway sinc eI ahve not been under their roofs for a LONG time, haha.

Anyhow--that is just a quick update from me. I hope all of these things happening are signs of an impending surgery but we shall see!

I am happy for you that things are moving forward! Best wishes hope you get through this and get a date soon!
I am sure your parents are just worried about you, as you know the media never talks about the wonderful benefits of WLS.
Maybe as time moves on you can put some of their fears to rest!

I work for the Govt, so I know they LOVE paperwork, take a deep breath and know they will take care of you, just in their time - Good luck on your surgery date - it will be here before you know it
