Sorry, but it's an Urban Legend. When they graft skin for burn patients, it's only the outermost layer (very thin, almost like paper), not the full depth of skin that a WLS post-op would have removed. And like Christina said, the skin we would have removed is not in the greatest condition to begin with.
I believe in most cases, skin grafts from burn victims comes either from the patient themselves (from a non-burned area of their body) or from cadavers.
