Calling all you newbies - If you're like me, you've been lurking and reading all the pre-op and general discussions to get all the information you can use to suceed with this wonderful tool. I urge you to look at the member picture forum - You will see alot of members that have given us some great advice and some absolutely beautiful transitions that will motivate you and give you the confidence, that you have made a great choice in both your surgery and joining this forum. I was really stunned when I finally went wandering on the forum. Good luck to all my April Staplers - can't wait to share stories over then next year

Those before and after pics were very motivating to me leading up to the surgery. Everyone looked like a different and happier person. Even those that had complications etc...still looked incredible. It gave me peace of mind and hope for the future going into this. I think that is why I like to post pics, hopefully it does the same for others.

Totally agree, it's so motivating to see how far so many of you have come and I LOOOOOOOVE the pictures!

With those of you who are several months or more post-op, I get so used to seeing what you look like now that I'm always taken by surprise to see your "before" shots for the first time.

I too love the before and after pictures. They keep me motivated as I wait for my journey to begin. I love seeing how healthy everybody looks in their after pictures but most of all I love seeing how happy everybody looks after they shed the weight.

Here's to being happier and healthier and even more beautiful than we already are.
