In Sweden the recomendations is 6-8 small meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner with good snacks in between). I think that is better cause of the boodsugar level. It don´t go like a rollercoaster if we eat in a regularly basis (every 2-3 hours) instead of eating with many hours in between.

In my head 3 meals a day is inhuman.. (just my oppinion) I reached my goal with 6-8 meals a day. And sometimes my snacks looks like my lunch.

Very intereseting post.

Question: How do we know when we are "about" to be full? I mean, if we need to stop before the full feeling strikes, how will know when that is? It's difficult to tell when I'm full.

Default Snack or not to snack

If I don't eat more than 3 times a day, I can't get in enough protein. The problem is knowing what I should eat. This is really hard to understand for me.

Default Thanks For The Info Woody

Thanks I liked re-reading this information. I need to be reminded about some things especially the irritated pouch. I unfortunately experience that quite a bit. I know I over do it at times. I've now learned to just do soups and drinks when I've had one of those episodes.

I also find that I can't eat more than 2 sometimes 3 meals a day, In eating when I'm hungry most days it only takes 1 meal. I find that I stay more thirtsy than hungry. However I'm now in my 5th month and noticed a marked increase in my hunger. I actually get really really hungry now and can eat more than a few bites of food still small portions, but prior to this month usually a couple of bites of whatever did it.

My doctor says 3 meals a day only. If I were to eat 6 meals, then there would be no way I could get in all the fluids I need to. Its hard enough to get in all the liquid and stop eating an hour before meals and wait an hour after. I would never get any sleep.....

My Dr. also says only 3 meals a day, with protein drinks in between...so if you count the protein drinks...I guess that could be 6 meals a day.. *shurg*
