My surgeon is Dr. P Duddley Giles, Stuart Florida, 18772201170
Loved him, his staff, his skills, and his facility. It doesn't get any better than that.

Denise, Marie, Marty...thanks for the encouragement. I don't think I would expose myself to anyone else or anything if it were not for a good cause.
Lisa, I am glad it has helped sway you. About two weeks ago, someone else and I were PMing about how some scary pics are being seen and really made me concerned. I wanted others to know to find the right surgeon and take your time in doing that. It is so important. Mine does a ton of bariatric reconstruction and I think the breasts are the telling part. Do they look natural in their portfolio of before and after. He didn't push me into implants and was very realistic in what I should expect. I was uneven to start and didn't want him to take too much off to even them out and make them both small. The nipples, I think are in a natural place.
I will try to take a lateral picture this weekend and add it.
Thanks again as this took a bit of courage (and a great deal of trust) on my behalf.

You would need some muscle work and most likely a mesh. This is good in that it may be covered by insurance..at least partially, but I think there will be more discomfort involved.

They took off about 10 pounds of skin and tissue, but it translated to only 4 pounds down for me this morning. I think in a week, when all the fluids are mobilized and maybe the swelling is down a bit, it will be more reflective. Skin and tissue weighs more off the body then on it.
I did pay out of pocket and for the entire thing including the suite and private duty aid was $9900 (I had a $1200 professsional discount)

You're amazing! Thank you so much for posting those photos - it took a lot of courage - and you look amazing after such a short period of time. I was thinking how great your arms look - wish mine looked like that - I look like I'm smuggling small children in mine.
And the suite was awesome! You know how to do this, girl! Good luck to you (but somehow, I don't think you'll need it!)

I like your boobies, I like the fact that you just had the reduction and not implants. They look totally "normal".
You look great!

thank you so much for posting the pictures. Can I ask exactly what you had done? I don't want implants either. What do they do to the breasts to make them look like that? You look fabulous by the way.

I had a breast lift (mastopexy). It is basically the same insicision as with a reduction except only the skin is reduced. The breast mound is placed higher on the chest wall and the nipple is repositioned. He did not need to do a free nipple transfer (higher chance of nerve damage and blood supply damage with loss of nipple). He just saved all of my breast tissue that was left. I thought I would still want to be a C/D cup and he said don't do implants now. Wait and see and he was right. I still haven't wrapped my head around how big or small my upper torso is. This is the right size for me.
The tummy was basically an extended panniculectomy. Remove from above my belly button to below my hair line and brought it all together. He went out pretty far lateral on my hips as well. No muscle tightening, no hernia repairs.
