Default Stupidest Comments you have heard about GBS?

Today as I was making my breakfast I was pondering the different things I have heard about GBS. Here they are in no particular order:

1. "If I can't loose weight the 'right' way....I'll stay fat"
2. GBS is unhealthy (and the cabbage soup diet, atkins, and jenna craig are perfect right?)
3. I know someone who knew someone who talked to someone in the checkout line, whose daughter had GBS and died.
4. "Love yourself" and the weight will come off
5. Have you tried the Green Tea diet?
6. "wow you can't have ABC or XYZ ever again???? Screw that"
7. Just quit eating so much and exersice.

I could go on forever but I have to go to school this evening....so what other comments have you guys heard.

I could go on forever lol....So what about you guys?

1.. How do you live without a stomach???
2.. You'll die from pooping too much.. they take out most of your intestines.. so its a straight shot, mouth to toilet.

You covered most of the rest.. FUNNY stuff by the way.. Great post! I laughed right out loud!

How about "you're taking the easy way out"

From everything I have learned on this forum it is far from easy.

Default hehehehe

this is/was funny! I agree with poster before me...it's always geez isn't that the easy weight out??? I have seen people roll there eyes and make remarks about never being able to eat again...And lastly same a friend of a friend has had so many complications I would NEVER do that!

I must admit when my cousin had the surgery in 12/05 I set out to prove I could do it on my own.....she continued to lose lose lose and 125 later she looks amazing and I well...I look the same on the outside and added a few more health problems on the inside.

I think people are just in need of education on this topic...since I decided to have the surgery I talk about it to anyone who will listen. I call my cousin the pioneer in our family/group and I think alot of people still believe this isn't an option.

Thanks for the post, sorry I didn't add to many funnies.
