I sure could use a little help. I have been researching Gastric Bypass for over three years now. Have been to numerous seminars and educations at numerous different facilities. I have fallen in love with Dr. Callery, methephorically speaking of course. I no longer live in San Diego County, but still want him to do my sugery. This means I need a new Primary Care Physician. One open to the idea of Gastric Bypass. One affiliated with Sharp Community. Any sugestions would be most welcome, especially if PacifiCare is your insurance provider. Thanks so much!!

I have PacifCare and Sharp as my provider. I was referred for surgery by Dr Flora Danque who is on Broadway in El Cajon. She is a strong advocate for GBS and is my #1 fan. I just love her to death. I don't know if she is accepting new patients but it is worth a shot. Best wishes.

I have Blue Cross of CA but they go thru Sharp. My Dr. who brought WLS up to me is DR. Jeffery Pearson and he is San Marcos Twin Peeks.

I to have Dr. Danque !!!!! She is great !!! She knows the test that are needed and gets them done prior to asking for approval for the consult. It takes awhile because you will be a new patient and she needs to document a relationship with you before going after approval. But during this period is when she is having all the tests done so I felt like we were moving forward with evrything the entire time. Actually when I found out my company was changing insurance cariers to pacific care I called Dr. C's office and asked for PCP's who refered to Dr. C that were covered under Pacific Care they gave me Dr. Danque's name and number.

I also have Dr. Flora Danque . If it wasn't for her I would have never had the surgery done. She really was willing to help me when no one else wanted to. Infact I was denied several times for WLS. After the last time she wrote the letter for me. After that I got my refferal to see Dr. Callery. She is the BEST doc that I have ever had. I highly recomend her to everybody that is looking for a PCP. She's AWESOM!!!
WOW Pam we have a lot more in common then I thought. Not only are we pod mates, but our doctor is the same.

I have Sharps and Pacificare and mine is Dr Amy Suggs in the Rancho Bernardo Center. She is fantastic too!
