Default Panni pics from my doctor

I have talked a bit in the past few months about an upcoming panni. I have 2 pictures from another patient of my doctors who had the panni, so mine would be very similar. I am still struggling with the scar issues and wonder if mine is really THAT bad. Do these pictures scare you too?

First one is a week post op and the next is a few months.

I have others from the same doctor and they are all the same..........

OW OW OW OW OW OW OWWWWWW.... That just looks plain scary. Do you have pre-op pics of her? I would love to see what she looked like before to determine if it was worth it!

My panni still has some fat in it...so it doesn't look this bad. I would say it was worth it! Drugs are gooooood.

OUCH! I think that knowing the scar will fade with time and that your clothes will fit better... and you will feel better... will make it worth it. How often will anyone see that scar anyway?

Couldn't that scar be removed with laser surgery? That is a pretty nasty scar. But I guess when that sudio has turned into a 3 bedroom 2 bath I guess the scar is worth it.

She had a pretty hefty scar pre-surg... but man that looks painful.. however.. if my skin is like that.. I would do it too! IN A MINUTE... OWOOWOW.. those scars tho.. really dont look like a plastic surgeon did them? Usually those are really narrow?? And not stapled??? Or am I mistaken??

The doc that does the panni is the same as the RNY. The previous scar in the second picture before panni is just like mine. All patients of his that had open RNY look pretty much the same. I had over 40 staples with my rny so I think the panni is about 3-4 times that. Yes, he is old fashion (some call it lazy) and uses staples. Compared to some, my RNY scar is much more red than others. I have access to about 12 patients of my docs for pictures of pre/post rny and panni, and really they are all the same.....the only difference is some choose not to keep a bellybutton, and that looks different! The first ones and the look around the belly button are the ones that freak me out.

I guess I have to weigh the pro's and con's of doing it.

Duckie..............hahaha - who see's it! I plan on going to a nude beach, didn't ya know!
