Hey Duckie,

I've been around reading, but school has been crazy. I'm finishing all my psych requirements so i can graduate in may as well as take all my pre requisites for nursing. I have applied to all the nursing schools, all in Boston, but i haven't heard from any of them yet. I've started to apply for jobs as well, at different hospitals in Boston for clinical research positions, as well as looking for apartments. My weight loss has been at a standstill for a few months now, can't really hit century. I am maintaining my weightloss, and all seems to be going well. I enjoy reading all of your posts and will try to post more often! Well have to do coffee or lunch sometime when I'm in the area. ttys!

He knew going in that there could be complications. I have had such a great experience at MGH, with nothing but the best care. They're the reason I am going into the health field!

p.s. Who was your medical dr at the weight center? I had dr. Stein.
I had Dr. Stein too. Nice lady, but I couldnt believe it when I found out this guy was sueing Dr. Ferguson. I had awesome care at MGH and Dr. Ferguson is a terrific doctor. I wouldnt want any other doctor doing this surgery but him.

From what I read, the doctor asked if he had any questions pre and post-op, and he said no. I also understand he didn't follow the rules to care for the pouch, he just pretty much did what he wanted, never went back for follow-up care or even support groups for that matter. I think he may have been ignorant and thought this was a "miracle pill" that a lot of people think it is.

In that case I am glad hes having problems. He will not win. Might sound harsh, but hes making a good man look bad because of his ignorance.

I also had my surgery at MGH and I am also employed there and all of this is giving a great hospital a bad wrap.
