OT - If this is global warming, how come I'm freezing my tuckus off?
Just checking in with the folks in New York - can you still see over the snow? We're expecting 3 to 6 inches in the St. Louis area, and I'm NOT looking forward to it.

I have those 3-6 inches here in Iowa, and we are expecting another 6". My husband was just going on and on about global warming and the frigid temps showing it's ugly face in the Midwest! Your post saying the exact same thing...made me giggle! FYI...we are snowed in, the town is pretty much closed, and the winds are keeping everyone snug at home.

I'm expecting a foot of snow tomorrow. Got stranded outside today in -4degree weather with a dead battery. That was fun. NOT! I couldn't feel my fingers or toes! I'm ready to spend the day tomorrow watching the snow fall, making chili and watching movies. My "friend" says he's going to drive in the snow anyway and come see me for valentine's day. The nut. If there aren't any restaraunts open we can at least have chili! lol

Yeah, I always thought chili was romantic
Make sure you make chili with beans and serve with onions and cheese. That way, if you lose your electricity, flatulence alone should keep y'all warm...

lol I use six different kinds of beans in my chili! OH, and there's onions in it.
I have to make more chili to replenish the supply in the freezer.
Okay, so maybe it IS romantic. lol
