Forum Update - What do you think?
Hello everyone,
We are in the process of updating the forum for a few reasons, and I want to know what YOU think of the possible new category structure. (1) My dad's practice is starting to do Lap-BandŽ operations, and (2) we would like to have the categories/structure more relevant to how you all use the forum. Though most of the categories are the same as before, a couple have been renamed and reorganized to be more efficient. Please give me feedback on the following structure:
GENERAL- Introduce Yourself
- Socialize (formerly "Social", will be accommodate anything related or unrelated to WLS)
- Personal Stories
- Member Photos
- Classifieds
- Buddies, Friends, and Family
- Exercise
GASTRIC BYPASS- General Discussions
- Pre-Op
- Post-Op
- Long-Term Post-Op
- Nutrition
- Emotional Support
LAP-BANDŽ- General Discussions
- Pre-Op
- Post-Op
- Nutrition
- Emotional Support
ADMINISTRATIVE- Office News
- Medical Updates
- Feedback & Suggestions
- Tips and Tricks
Thanks!
John Callery

It's all good to me....no matter the format...I'll still hang out here! Though the way we are...perhaps an adults only section is needed too!

Would I have to prove that I'm 18 or older?? Would you like to see my scar?
And the new format looks great.

Would an "Insurance" section be helpful, or do you think that already works under General Discussions or Pre-Op?
Thanks,
John

Insurance
Not sure on the insurance section, maybe some of the new members of the board can weigh in on that one.
Just wanted to reassure you too, John, that when you change the structure of the board, you may "hear" a lot of crabbing about it... I've been an agent of change for most of my professional life, and people struggle with it. They will adjust, though, it will just take time.
