Theoretically, the surgery doesn't get done on children, so only adults should be reading these posts to begin with. I love how a post can suddenly go from matter of fact to r-rated, and I think it would be weird having an adults only section to "be adults" in. This forum is for all of us adults having the surgery, trying to have it, or thinking about it. I don't think we need a specific category for "racy posts". JMO...

I like the way that looks John. I also think have a specific place for insurance questions is a good idea, it will make it easier to search for new people. And it's usually new people that ask those kinds of questions. Thanks for thinking of us.

Just wanted to reassure you too, John, that when you change the structure of the board, you may "hear" a lot of crabbing about it... I've been an agent of change for most of my professional life, and people struggle with it. They will adjust, though, it will just take time.
I am pre-op and I haven't been on the board long, but I think I have actually only seen one post about insurance QUESTIONS... there are lots of posts about what specific insurance co's allow. I also think insurance companies are so different with their "rules" that its more important for someone to know THEIR company. Maybe a sticky post saying something to that affect would suffice in the pre-op section.. just my 2 cents

Looks good to me. I typically use the "new posts" to read up on the news of the day so categories are still good when making a new post or searching for something.

Thanks so much for allowing us "non-Calley" patients to be here too. Very much appreciated.

I was even thinking about maybe just having 1 Emotional Support section, and moving that under "GENERAL", and also removing "Long-Term Post-Op" and including that within the "Post-Op".

John,

With most websites "simple" is usually "better." I think this is a superior forum and if you are the one who is responsible you deserve KUDOS!

Whatever you do will be great and I, too, thank you for making this site available to all of us. It is a huge resource for me and has enhanced my post-op journey immeasurably.

John I have requested a section for post-op pregnancy but never got a response about that. I think it is still a very important subject that isn't really touched on. What do I have to do to get a post-op pregnancy section going John? Thanks for all the hard work John.
