HAH!, you're not kidding! My friend Bridget was taking it a few years ago. One afternoon a friend of theirs called to say he was on his way over to their house with Danny Wuerffel--1996 Heismann Trophy winner. As she was vacuuming the living room she suddenly felt a little "funny" and realized she had messed herself without even knowing it and then it was a scramble to get the smell out of the house before they got there LOL... needless to say, I never took that stuff!!

i have used Miralax on and off since a few months after surgery. It just makes the stool softer and easier to expel. It was a life saver for me.

I was beginning to wonder if I am constipated because I hardly go anymore but have not been worrying about. I just started on the CALCIUM CITRATE regimen that the surgeon ordered and now my scale has not moved. Could it be just the extra calcium slowing things down like BM's and weight loss??

This is my first plateau so to speak? Any words of wisdom?

I actually took xenical about 5 years ago for weight lose and it really did help,it does warn you on the pack that if you eat fat then it will pass straight through you (with no warning) as most of you found out, i was ok on it i cut out the fat and lost around 30 pound, the reason i had to stop taking it was i was suffering with some of the other side effects (migraines and flu like symptoms for the time i was taking the pills) i thought i would prefer to have no pains and be fairly healthy than take the pills. luckly no leakages for me . on the other hand a friend of mine (truck driver) was prescribed them and ....well say no more he ate burgers and quick snaks whilst on the road. i will end it there you can imagine the outcome.
It is worrying that like a few of you have said youngsters are going to be going mad for these pills
