Let them think whatever they want...you know the truth and they don't deserve any kind of clarification...rise above it and be the better person as a result...you know you already are...

Tawanda,
Sounds like jealousy is rearing it's ugly little head in these stupid biotches! I would just kick their ignorant asses to the curb. You are way better off with out that kind of jealousy and negativity. You have done a wonderful job of losing and don't need them and their petty sh*! bringing you down. Keep your chin up and know that you are above anything they can say.

My evil side loves the back atcha rumor idea, sort of like setting a fire to stop a fire. But, Tewanda, you are an incredible inspiration. You have literally worked your butt off to get where you are.

A therapist once told me something that I try to hold onto in moments like this:
"What someone else thinks of you is none of your business." I agree with Jules, rise above it!

You all are just the best! And I know you are all right...I shouldn't let this get to me.

I think I'm going to just try to ignore the whole thing. My true friends DO know the truth, and I'm sure they will continue to support me. It just drives me nuts that people have to be the way they are!

The clincher is I have a very high profile job in the public eye. And living in a small town like this, rumours can make or break you, professionally (not to mention what they can do to your psyche and confidence...ugh!)

I'm actually thinking that maybe I will call these two bimbos and invite them to go snowshoeing with me this weekend. I'm sure I can wear them out over the trails so they can get a REAL taste of what I've been up to for the last year. And oops! So what if one slips and ends up face down in a snow drift?

(insert evil grin here)

It might not hurt to mention how upsetting it is to you that people who say they are your friends turn around and discredit your hard work by thinking and telling others you're using medication to lose weight. A little innocent, "You have no idea how hard this has been - and then to be doubted this way - it really hurts - just tears me up." as if you don't know they're the ones saying it. They may leave you at about 2 foot 6 inches. More than they deserve.

But I agree - I wouldn't care what they said. I know what it is like to have a high profile job - but you can't control what others are thinking and saying about you - either true or false. So you have to let it go.

And by the way babe - you're gorgeous.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{Tawanda}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} You lil jewel! I love you sweetie. I admire you SO much for what you are doing and will do! You have been so strong and committed and determined to do what we, with this tool, are doing and you have kept up sweetie. I am SO proud of you and have told you in several posts how great you are doing to be doing this own your own and how proud I am of you. You totally amaze me! As someone else said, you are "beautiful", and those jealous people don't matter! That's all it is....jealousy. So, kick them to the curb. You have other friends that are better to you than that. Makes me so MAD! Grrrrrrr, I'd spit on 'em for ya if I were there! Anyway, about the forum addy, I don't think that's a good idea though. This is you safe haven and a place where you have put alot of personal things and something you need to continue for your support and feel you have some privacy. If I were you, if I REALLY wanted to show someone, I would either print this thread out and show one of the "real" friends or I would invite them over to show them on your computer so they do not have the liberty of thumbing through "ALL" info on this site. Ya never know when someone might innocently give this addy out and then the ones that are giving you heartache will be all in your personal business, and we know what those morons would do with all of this. So, please take care of YOU and be safe. Honey, hold your head HIGH! We all love you here........

You don't have anything to prove to those false people. Just keep on doing what you've been doing.

btw - I wouldn't direct anyone to this online forum.

This is your own secret place to share your honest thoughts about weight loss. You don't want these people reading these pages and getting intoyour head do you?

You know, I wouldn't put myself in their path no matter what!! People like that are just looking for a reason or opportunity to sink their claws in. Personally I would handle any dissagreement with them in PUBLIC, in front of your friends. It doesn't surprise me that they waited to have this PUBLIC discussion when you were GONE and couldn't dispute it. That's how people like this work. SO, be sure to point out to their faces, in front of your 'real' friends that people who KNOW you, and whom you CARE About who know exactly how you got to look so good! Those other people who have to make themselves feel better by throwing everyone else down, aren't worth the time it takes to explain humanity to! Yep, I would confront them publically and point how how petty and childish their behavior was and how no one really believed the lies these two felt they could throw out there. It's too bad people like them exist at all...there shoud be a law. Take the high road, but not that high, I vote for a public downdressing!....

Default Well...surprise, surprise...

I just got yet ANOTHER phone call from yet another friend, saying she had lunch with one of the Miss Busybodies...shall we call these two Dummyhead and Dingbat...?

Apparently Dummyhead spent the first few minutes of the lunch hour telling my friend that she saw me in Nevada and how AWFUL I look and that it's quite obvious that I am on drugs because my face looks all saggy, my eyes are sunken in and that, coupled with the weight loss, is a sure sign that I am on Meth!!!

Grrr.....grrr....GRRRRRRRR!

My friend told Dummyhead that she thought I looked better than I had in years and that the reason I looked so drained is because since I have been spending so much time with Josh, I'm obviously not getting enough sleep and doesn't she, Dummyhead, wish she had a hot boytoy, too?

Gotta love it.....
