Thanks Dyann!! Actually the surgeon just called and changed me to Pepcid OTC twice a day. I was taking Zantac and Previcid (not Pepcid) I'm not sure what the difference is, but they changed it again, now I am to wait 2 weeks and then go in for an appointment and see if that helps. If that doesn't help, they said the exact thing you did, an esphogeal spasm (sorry about the spelling) So now we are just back to the 'wait and see'. I have been keeping a detailed log of food, liquid, meds, and pain level like they wanted. I hate to complain, I mean I am still functioning, but it's just annoying.
This is why I like this place so much, everyone helps everyone else. It's so much information and everyone is willing to share. This is a great place to be!
