Default I got my hair cut off!!!

Months 3 through 8 were tough on my hair - now that it's growing back to it's original thickness, I had to cut all that old growth off!!

My hairdresser was so excited to cut someone's hair all off!! My hair wasn't much more than shoulder length in the back . .. and she cut off at least 5 inches!!

A few of my friends freaked out - but you know, I wasn't defined by my weight . . . and I'm not defined by my hair either!!

That's okay, I promised my wife I would shave my head when I lost my weight.

Now I'm rethinking this.

Laurie, if that's your new "do" in your avatar pic, it's AWESOME! I'm seeing my stylist tomorrow, still not sure what I'm wanting to do...hey did you see the YouTube video of the bride going crazy and chopping off all her hair on her wedding day? It was hilarious, but this morning, on GMA, they revealed that it was fake. Too bad, she had a stage 1 meltdown.

Yea, that's my new hair - I took this pic to show a girlfriend my new lime green jacket - or else I would have gotten a closer hair pic.

It's long on one side and really short everywhere else. It dries in a minute and it's so fun to do!!

I saw the GMA segment on the "bride" . . . I was impressed that she did cut off her own hair for her art!! Actors are mad!

I had a very similar cut done to my hair as well actually right after surgery because I was going bald. Finally it is starting to grow really slow but I am thinking of going back to the same cut as everyone loved it!

It looks really cute

PS...That is not my real hair in my avatar pic..I am an extension queen

Default Hair is highly overrated

Being follicley challenged, I can assure you that hair is highly overrated.

Here are some of the perks of going bald:
1. You never get hat-head
2. You do not need to lug a comb or brush around with you. (If you do have
a comb, you will never part with it. Groan)
3. You fear no wind
4. You can dry your hair with a paper towel if you get caught in the rain.
5. Your thumb and pointer finger form an effective squeegee for your head if
there is no paper towel available.
6. You are more aerodynamic! Built for high-speed with low drag.
(Personally, I am almost considered "stealth" because there are no sharp
edges on me anywhere that could reflect a radar signal.)
7. You no longer imagine you hear the phone ringing when you use a blow
dryer.
8. If someone finds a hair in their food, you are never suspected.
9. It is virtually impossible to sunburn the part in your hair.
10. You can use the money you would have spent on haircuts, styles, perms,
coloring, etc. on a trip to Hawaii.
11. A bottle of shampoo lasts longer than some relationships...choose wisely
because you're going to be together for a long time.
12. You cannot possibly get a bad haircut.
13. No dark roots.
14. You never have to put "placenta" on your head again! (Who came up
with the idea of putting that in shampoo in the first place?!)
15. You can work in food service without wearing a hair net.
16. You never get frustrated and "pull your hair out" at work.
17. Shower drains never clog or slow down.
18. It disproves that if you pluck out a hair two will grow back.
19. You will never hear a hair-raising story.
20. No bad hair days....ever.

So going bald has its advantages. And hey... Did you notice that none of the smileys have hair? Just look how happy most of them are.
