Default What food is your Greatest weakness

I am just curiose as to what foods wre your greatest weakness and how do you cope without them?

By the way mine was Soda and Chips. I could eat a full bag of chips and drink a full 2 liter bottle of soda in one sitting. Its terrible. I stopped bringing it into the house.

As a not yet post op person, I can tell you my food weakness is Chocolate!! If I have even a little bit I want more. I have found though that in trying to lose the 10% and maintain it until surgery that I can have the chocolate around, but can not have any even a little and I will just keep searching it out. I have to go through Chocolate Detox it seems, but once out of my system I can go without it.

Do I really want to be normal?? Having some body issues. Don't want to be too thin.

My weakness used to be fatty fried Mexican food. Now my weakness is crackers. I really have to fight the urge to over eat when I get a hold of a box of Rosemary & Olive Oil Triscuits or Low Fat Wheat Thins. I could honestly eat a whole box in a day if I allowed myself to.

Hmm.. Pre-op, but I already know my weakness is going to be Doritos.. and Hersheys... I have to say, I always said.."I DONT EAT THAT MUCH!! WHYYYYYYY AM I FAT??".. then I started filling out my packet.. That was such an eye opener lol.. oh.. I know why I'm fat.. I eat a family size bag of Doritos in a week.. and I could eat a whole one of those giant hersheys bars ($1.69 at walmart).. I havent bought either one of those in those quantities since.. I will say that I have been trying to "be good" and keep my calorie consumption to between 200-400 calories at breakfast and lunch.. and sometimes after my stupid soup at work.. I get a bag of peanut M&M's.. and I had a $.25 bag of doritos when I was playing Jared at Subway last week..

Pre-op was definitly fatty mexican foods ... Mmmm giant bean and cheese w/ sauce burrito. And i would eat 2!! I dont think i could eat 1/8 of one of those burritos now.. even if my pouch WOULD tolerate it!! Makes my tummy hurt just thinkin about it. Oh and Skittles. I could (and did) eat atleast one package of skittles a day.. sometimes 2 or 3 if i couldnt decide on a flavor when i got to 7-11 to buy them. What kind of retarded reasoning for injesting 1000's of excess calories is THAT huh?
Post op the good news is i cant tolerate fatty foods (bye bye beans) and skittles taste really... bland? Im not sure why i liked them so much. My new bane is chips. Im not sure what it is about them but im having a devil of a time finding a healthier replacement. I was hoping maybe it was the crunch and so was eating carrots and culiflower instead but im starting to fear it was the salt becuase the C's arnt nearly as fufilling as the chips. Oh well... i have a few chips. I just have to really pay attention to moderation and making sure im eating becuase im hungry... not becuase im in a snack attack. I try to eat a few of them WITH some other healthy thing just to add in a little happy into my otherise bland diet (cheese, cottage cheese, cheese, soup, cheese, cheese... lol)

Without a doubt....Breyer's Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. I find it nearly impossible to not eat the whole half gallon in one sitting. If I didn't love my honey so much, I'd seriously consider an ice cream marriage.

I had so many....let's see....Tater tots, Big Macs, fries, big ass sandwiches w/chips, Taco Bell, Jim Boy's, anything along those lines......Can you see why I required surgery? lol! Goldfish crackers are my weakness now! I try to justify them because they have a few grams of protein!
