OK, I am in on this. I need to start doing some type of exercise to tone up. I have not had any motivation to exercise since I feel good. Please, don't lecture me. I really know how much I need todo this. I will play racketball with my husband once (he really wants me to play with him) and I will go to the gym once this week to get an evaluation. This is my promise to start.

k.. Long as you arent waiting for failure. I think... that people should at least be challenging themselves, and not setting their goals too low. and if they want to set lofty goals good for them!! If they dont meet them, and it is possible that they wont ... then they have to deal with that.. and they might not "just feel bad".. they might just kick it in gear.. kinda sucked the fun out of it for me.. thinking someone thought someone elses goals were too high (and they dont really KNOW the people's abilities).. but like I said.. I could have misread you.. emotion keys sometimes dont work on these computers..

maybe you thought I was specifically speaking about one individual person and I wasn't. lol. Lower you're defense level some girl. I want everyone to succeed. I didn't look at any one post and say "wow" she'll never make that.
I'm not that type of person. I guess I have to remember you can't hear my voice or my tone or see my body language so its very easy to take my words as a attack. They aren't.
I think MO are naturally more defensive. I know I always was and still fight it to this very day. Just know im here to help and to get help. I get my help from here all the time. So I try and help where I feel I can.
When it comes to exercise I feel I have something to give. Coming from 450lbs and last time I exercised really was in highschool to where I am now wasn't easy. I feel i've got some expeirence in that department. Sorry my post came off as "i dont believe in you" I do believe in you. Otherwise why would I bother to post?

thats why I asked! I know I can be defensive.. but really, I wasnt caring about me lol. I am more likely to come to the defense of others.. just trying to clarify..

Awwwwwwww Cindy. I wish I were there to walk through those doors with you g'friend! I just finished my treadmill walk (YEAAA, GO ME, I DID IT!) and I am pumped for more now. I'm ready to get going with this exercise thing. I wanna work my way into it though or I will burn myself out and I don't want to make myself so sore that I CAN'T do it again the next day. Cindy, you get those exercise britches on and you walk through those doors like the little princess you are and think of me beng right there beside ya when you go in and keep a smile on your face and you will do great!

OK, I had to address this one, Cindy... as it's probably the most common fear of every woman, and most men, that I train on a daily basis at the fitness center. NO ONE IS WORRIED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE THEY ALL ARE WORRIED ABOUT THEMSELVES. I swear! Here's my personal theory on the breakdown:
90 percent of the people there are hoping no one looks at them...so they're afraid to look at anyone else, in case someone meets their eyes.
5 percent of the people are there because they're hoping someone, anyone WILL look at them, but they're too self-involved to look at you.
5 percent of the people are looking at everyone, but it's only to raise their own self-esteem, and again, too self-involved to really care what YOU look like, they're only worried about themselves.
The lady who is willing to stand completely nekkid in front of the hand dryer in order to dry her hair (ALL of her hair... ) probably falls in the first five percent mentioned, but I'm not completely sure of that...
