Nope.. not even close..But.. its not from lack of wanting.. I just didnt want my head to explode.. Treadmill / bike raised my bp.. significantly.. Thought it was gonna lower it.. and overall it will.. just have to start slower I guess.. Not real happy bout it.. but Will do my own stuff exercise wise... eventually..

How I did:
  • 20 minutes of cardio on the elliptical (up from 15) to begin (yep, got that done)
  • full Nautilus line (26 weight machines), upper and lower body and core, added five pounds to every weight today, want to be on 20 reps by next weekend (up from 15) (nope - missed by two machines)
  • stretch the entire body (yep)
  • super-plie's in all seven positions (not the five I've been doing) (yep)
  • 5 sets of 10 crunches (up from 3), 3 sets with legs up on the ball, 2 sets with ball suspended in mid-air between my ankles (nope, still at 3 sets)
  • 3 sets of 10 back strength moves (sort of like a backwards crunch), up from 2 sets today (nope, still at 2 sets)
  • add push-ups to the list (nope)
  • 20 more minutes of cardio on the treadclimber or treadmill (up from 15) to finish (yep)

I'll report in next weekend how successful I was - I'll be exercising as shown above on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sundays, plus playing racquetball against my husband on Saturdays. (made it on Tuesday, made the racquetball with my husband, and made some new goals which are more reasonable... )

I think (duh!) that I just was asking too much of my bod--I wore out on Tuesday, just lost the will to live, much less exercise. Realized I've been running on five or six hours sleep for a while, so I concentrated on sleep instead. Feel much better this week, after eight hours of sleep (for the first time in months!) on Saturday night, and seven and a half hours last night. Will try again on Tuesday.

Also, my husband and I have decided to make Saturday our sports day from here on out. In the wintertime, we'll play racquetball, summertime golf.

Nope my Goals were not met. I don't want to make excuses but I had a little girl who was very ill. They are treating her for pneamnia( spelling). But I will put all my effort into it this week.

Default Did it!

I did it! And a little extra too - I walked the three days as planned, but for longer each time than I had planned, plus a fourth day with the WLS support group after the meeting on Saturday. I rode the LifeCycle three times also, first 10, then 11, then 12 minutes each time, as planned. It felt great! I'm psyched for Week Two!

Default Dang

I got the stairs accomplished, but I missed snowshoeing because a few friends decided to go to Jackpot Nevada for the weekend to watch the Superbowl and I tagged along.

However, I walked all around the casinos for HOURS so I feel like it was a good substitute for the snowshoeing!

I have to fess up here with my terrible week. Last week ended up being one of those weeks that I just can't seem to keep up with life. I ended up at the gym only once and jogged the dog only once. This is not the norm for me, so I am trying not to beat myself up, but none the less, I am still dissappointed in me! This week, I am going to do three spin classes, get to the gym for my regular workout 3 days and run the dog atleast 3 days, 4 if my schedule permits. Looks like you all had a much better week than me, I plan on joining you this week!
