Default Cramps???

Nooo not those kind silly, I have been waking up almost every night or morning with cramps in my feet and legs!!! I am taking sublingual B,prenatal vitamins, calcium tabs, and all the stuff the Dr said to take! My vitamin panel said my protein level was ok,vit b was a bit high, only thing I was low on was iron just a bit so what is causing this? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks, Mike

It's dangerous for your heart for your potassium to be low too, so get something done about it if you continue to have those cramps.

I agree, that's probably it... every time I'd go hardcore on Atkins I'd end up with major muscle twitching and cramps, and even heart fluttering occasionally. If I took potassium, it would take care of it right away.

I went through a phase of low potassium in the begining too.. had alot of what youre describing. So low in fact that when i went to the ER for my kidney stones they hooked me up to an IV of potassium and wouldnt let me leave until it was all in. It was ok though! Ive felt better ever since.

don't forget fluids!!! dehydration leads to cramps as well.
