Unhappy I just got worse news

The weight lose clinic in my insurance plan (the only one.) They have a policy you have to pay 2000.00 500.00 up front to begin. The fee covers all classes for life. Thats great except my business folded in May and I have financial issues out the wazoo. Our family life has done a 360. Everyone in the family has suffered and it Sucks. I have had two surgeries since October and I am still in 6 week recovery from last one.

This is the story of my life I am always on the outside looking in...I always get to the door and dont have the key...

What a bummer!
Thanks for listening.

Can you call your insurance company and tell them that you cannot afford the classes (not to mention, that is the reason you have insurance)? There has to be a way around this. I am anxious to hear what some of the experts on this site have to say.

Good Luck.

I am so sorry to hear that you are hitting a speed bump this early on. Maybe you can ask about a payment plan with an affordable payment. I hope youcan get something worked out. Good Luck!

Do I really want to be normal?? Having some body issues. Don't want to be too thin.

Before I ever scheduled the seminar meeting which is Thursday night, I called my insurance company to get requirements and they said you know ???? nut, diet, analysis all or those things...I dont know what this doctor does that would ask you for that much money up front..but I will check it out I have to be there Thursday night at 5:30 eastern time.

Leesa I know how it feels to feel like you are always at the bottom when you are trying and working so hard to keep half way to the top. Hang in there. Don't give up. Where there is a will there is a way. Hopefully soon you will be posting how things are looking up. My prayers are with you.

I had to fight with my insurance company. I ended up appealing to the State and they overturned the denial and now have to pay for it. I am actually thankful I had to fight for it. It made me way more informed and they realized that I was not going away. So don't give up. If it's is something you truly want you will find a way. Being informed is the best way. Learn everything about your insurance company. Maybe try changing insurance if that is an option.
