Thanks for all the welcomes and replies...you guys are great. I'll keep you posted on my progress. I had my echocardiogram today along with my pulmonary function test. Both went very well. I have the psych eval and dietary consult at the end of the month as well as my second consult with the surgeon. I'm definetly crossing my fingers(and my toes, tongue, hair, legs...etc.)

I´m swedish and here in sweden some years ago VBG was very common together with the gastric banding.

I am active on a swedish forum and we have people there that have done a GBP after having a VBG.

hmm.. In sweden they now stopped doing the VBG due to all the reoperations. Almost everyone that had a VBG in sweden now have a gastric bypass or are waiting to get one (seems like it on the forum anyhow, the people who found the forum are at least the people i am talking about).
