I just called Dr. Aframs office and they told me that they sent in my request to have the surgery today. I switched from Aetna Fed to BCBS FED PPO because I was told that I would have a better chance getting approved and I didn't have to do the 6 month wait like Aetna wanted. So wish me luck. I should here something in about 2 weeks.

PS reading the threads on this forum have been the most important thing to me. I've done a lot of research but hearing the good and the bad from people who have already been through the process is very beneficial. So thank you.
