lap band question

Hello. I know that the main focus here is gastric bypass but has anyone had the lap band surgery? Are you glad you did? How have things been for you?

My sister had it done in April and lost 20 pounds at first then gained it back and now she has lost 10 pounds.Lap band is not for everyone because you can still trick it and gain.Barb

There is a guy that works for my father who was a good 400lbs and he's lost 80lbs since his surgery. He's very happy with his results, but in retrospect, I had my surgery 4 days after his and I have lost 131 and I had a lower starting weight.
