Default Just a silly Question

Yesterday as I was taking off my shoes (I was in a hurry cause I had to go pee) I was trying to get the double tie knot out, when I realized I tied them like that so I wouldn't have to try to bend over while outnabout to retie them. I don't think I need to do that anymore. Anyone else out there still or ever did/do this? T

I have always double tied mine. I think it's out of habit, because I always did my children's shoes that way. But I haven't had to tie their shoes in years
(they are 19 and 16). Old habits die hard.

Wow I was never able to tie my shoes because my feet stayed to swollen so I use to pull the laces all the way lose so the ends were just hangin. Sad I know. But since I am such a Californian I wear sandals the majority of the time so it has been awhile since I have tried to tie a pair of shoes.

It is just one of those small things that we didn't think about before surgery that is so freeing after. Congrats. BTW, I still double know mine as I just find it annoying to have them come untied.

I always do the double knot thing. I think I always will...it's just a habit now. I'd feel weird not doing it.

Oh yea, I double knot, but now I do it in the middle of the shoe and can bend over to do it, I don't have to undue the pants and find a place where I can place my foot at just the right height.

You know when I noticed that the bow on my shoes were over to the side and WHY, I made it a point to get it in the middle!! Is that sad or what? T
