i am doing alright

had a rough time friday, my pouch was not cooperating, but back on track yesterday with a whoppin 78 grams of protein and 65 grams today, fluids are still a struggle, hard to drink when not thirsty but working on it anyway

getting ready for xmas now, love this time of year

was in lethbridge all weekend with my sons hockey team for a tournament, had a great time

had wendys chili yesterday for the first time ever, was good
found it hard to find things to eat in restaurants and didnt have a fridge or microwave in the rooms so finding things to eat was a challenged, finally figured it out yesterday and today

have never had a starbucks anything before, and there was a starbucks in the lobby of our hotel, yummy yummy yummy, the only thing they had that was s/f was the vanilla syrup, so i had a latte once, it was okay, then i got addicted to the fat free steamed milk with s/f vanilla, wow that was good, so had two of those yesterday and one this morning before we got on the bus to come home, will have to try to find some of that s/f vanilla so i can make those at home, i can drink milk now, as of thursday, thats so weird couldnt before, then tried small amounts thursday and friday and by saturday, was drinking starbucks, so funny how fast things can change.

how are things with you Lisa?

Carrie, sounds like its going good for you. Starbucks...I can't handle warm milk, so even yesterday in this figgin' cold, I had a Iced, Venti SFVanilla Latte. I buy my syrup from Starbucks for $9.50 a bottle. I am still on my first bottle and just bought a second one. I am finding that I only ask for a half shot of syrup, its too sweet for me.

At home I make espresso, shot of SFV syrup, milk and ice....drinking one now. I can get in more fluids when I drink these!

Weight..........slow as slugs...really. Only 6 pounds this month so far and doesn't look like that will change over the next few days for the end of month 10. Oh well.......I guess I need to realize how far I have come...I was hoping for a double digit loss the next few months to make goal by my surgery anniversary!

Christmas...........Love it too, although this year is pretty rough with hubby's mom in pallitive care and not knowing whats happening day to day. Did shop a little yesterday though...had to!
