Default Juicer

I recently invested ($180.00) in a juicer that is awesome. I was told that the nutrients in juice absorb in your body quicker. So, I thought that I would try it. I am the type of person that likes some fruits and veggies but not all and I have found this is the way to get the nutrients out of the veggies and fruits that I don't like. At first I thought it would be a waste of money because I wouldn't be using all the fruit or veggies, but after I make the juice the pulp (fibre) is used in stews, soups, muffins, puddings etc so I am using every piece of the fruit and vegetable. Since I can't have leafy greens I have been putting them in the juicer with carrots, spinach and some fruit. I feel now that I am getting all the nutrients I need in the juice if I can't get them in throughout the day. I thought the juice would be nasty with veggies in them but I was wrong. These juices I make are the best juices. I made a fruit one tonight with grapes, apples and strawberries and it was the best tasting juice that I have ever had. My pouch doesn't react to it so I think I am doing something right so far.

I've been considering getting one of those too! I wasn't sure if it would be worth it...but it sounds like it would. I just have to get off this oxygen and back to work first....don't think I can justify a credit card purchase with no income.....hubby might frown on that! lol! However, I think I will ask Santa to bring me one....that's only 1 month away!!! Woohoooo!

Hi Leah...long time no see. How have you been doing...from you post it sound like great.

A juicer is one of the appliances that I have never had as I love fruits and veggies so much. Sounds super cool that you can use all the fruit and veg in soups and such.

Let us know how you are doing.
