Default Had Consult today w/ Kelly

What a great and fulfilling visit w/ Kelly today...she is a wonderful person. My hubby went with me and he is 100% compliant after talking with her. She gave it to me straight and I like that. She never rushed me and answered all my question, then asked for more. lol.

Well all I need now is blood work & ekg, then results to come in and walk in to the office. Then what do you know...dictation!!!! Wow, what a great feeling to be this far after 6 months.

Question...for the experienced ones, how long does it usually take for the Dr. to pick up your chart for dictation? And how long does dictation usually take?

Good new...my insurance (pacific care) covers 100% & hospital stay is 100%. WOW! Only co-pays. Can wait to get there.

I am attending the dietary class tomorrow night, anyone from here going?

Default Kelly,

Congratulations on your progress so far. Depending upon when you get the tests in to the office and what the patient load is, dictation usually takes two to three weeks. Insurance approval one to four weeks.

I am glad to see someone asked what I needed to ask about how long things take after walking in the results. I love reading all your posts...everyone seems so friendly.....your posts give me hope.
