Lightbulb I Have A Surgery Date...I Think????

HI ALL,
ROSE CALLED ME WITH A TENTATIVE DATE OF DEC. 27. MONDAY AFTER CHRISTMAS. DR. CALLERY WILL BE ON VACATION WEEK BEFORE. I have my pre-op 12-16. I am nervous about the staffing at the hospital during that week. Anyone think I should postpone untill January??? I am also worried about what I eat during Christmas, as it seems I should be eating lightly, and as my track record proves, I am not very good at eating lightly, especially on Christmas. On the other hand I have a lot of motivation to keep that date as I can't stand another day in this exterior that has never seemed to match my interior!! Ya Know??
I have been enjoying everone at this forum. It sounds like many of you have gotten very close. I would love to be part of a support group. I life in North County (Vista/ O'side). I think it would be helpful to know people who have gone through what I will be going through in a couple weeks.

breathe....... Keep your date, your gonna do fine. On the 26th eat light, until then just keep doing what your doing, everything will be great. Like you said the date is tenative and for all you know, it could get pushed back. But in the meantime, I think you will do just fine with having sx on the 27th... we all wish we had just one more day to prepare before the big day.... best wishes!

Default Rain,

Don't waste another day when you could be on the loosing side of life. Just think, you'll be around 10 or 20 pounds lighter ringing in the new year!

Dr. C will make sure you are well taken care of!
