I saw the news and immediately thought of her too. I hope she's okay.

Default I'm ok

HI Ladies,
Thanks so much for thinking of me. We just had our power restored about an hour ago, thank God!!!

I felt the shakes as I woke up this morning, ran and got the kids to door ways and then lost power. It was a little scary for something like this to happen with DH gone out to sea. I wasn't sure what was going on, but immediately thought ' oh know, tsunami?' We are only about 3/4 of a mile from the Pearl Harbor port, so the thought was a little scarry. I wasn't sure if I should head to higher ground or stay put. Any where you go, you aren't far from a shoreline here. Then there was talk of possible mud slides, so figured I would take my chances at home. There was nothing open and power was out through out all the islands ( i think , atleast Oahu)
I am so thankful no one was hurt on the island of Hawaii, the big island and Maui, it was worse there. The worst of our day was the kids freaking out that they wouldn't have XBOX all day long or the computer!
Thanks so much for thinking of me!

Thanks so much.
Though we have our power back, keep your fingers crossed for others around the islands that are still without power.
I feel so bad for anyone visiting here on vacation too. They think they were coming to paradise for this grand vacation, and this happens!

I was thinking of you too and watched the news. The coverage here was crappy, so hard to tell how bad it was. Glad you are ok.
