Good to hear that you are ok. I thought of you too!! My husband and I stayed on base there with our friends about 10 years or so back...he was Army at the time and rooming with them was really nice!! That was our most favorite vacation ever!! You are so lucky to have the opportunity to live there! Well, at least under normal circumstances you are!! LOL!!
