I got this post from obesityhelp, a gal needs our help. You guys have any ideas?

"I have a friend in San Diego who has Pacificare, HMO and needs WLS. She needs a Primary Care Dr. who will be sensitive to her needs and support her in referring her to a WLS doc. Does anyone know a doctor that she can see??????
I live in Sun City and have Tricare so i'm not much help. I would REALLY appreciate any info. Thanks."

I have Pacificare, HMO also. My doctor is Flora Danque and she is the one who did my referral, we had already documented the 6 months attempt at supervised weight loss before she did the referral, I was approved very quickly. She is in El Cajon on Broadway, I do not know however, if she is accepting new patients. Good luck.

I have Pacificare HMO too. Dr Amy Suggs at Sharps Rees Staley in Rancho Bernardo is my doc and she is GREAT! She is accepting new patients too.
