I am new to this site and to the surgery thing, so I am trying to find out some info that is why I am here, oh and for MAJOR SUPPORT . Anyway, it is so funny reading some of your threads and reading how some of you are 5 lbs. or so from your goal, I am so happy for you. I have just started this journey and if I lost 5 lbs. you wouldn't even know it. I can't wait to be on the other side of this.

I am so happy for you guys who are almost at goal, you should be so proud.

Gabby
Welcome, you are on your way to the most fufilling journey of your life.
You will evaporate before your very eyes. Later when your energy kicks in you want to be sure to encorporate some exercise and build your habits while your tool is strong.
When did you have your surgery?

Hey Gabby....welcome to the board! I know what you mean about the lbs.....when I was starting out it took 20-30 lbs for anyone to notice at all. Now, 5 lbs and everyone notices......and I can change a whole size in jeans sometimes. You can get there....just know that you have a lot of hard work ahead of you! Good luck on your journey. I hope the process goes smoothly for you.

You found a great place early in your journey. We are here every step of the way. I think we are making up for not being cheerleaders earlier in life. It took 40-50 pounds before people who saw me occassionally to even notice. But then the differences are remarkable. Find the right surgeon and follow the rules and you will be great!!
