Default Today Is My One Year Anniversary

Good morning everyone! Exactly a year ago today, I was in Edmond OK having my RNY. Sitting here typing this, I was remembering how scared I was, where I had placed the "letters" to each family member I had written out in case things didn't go well. I kissed my grandson (who was born yesterday, the day before my surgery) and was so unhappy because I couldn't spend more time with him before I had to go. <p>
I think a year ago today, Dr. Floyd saved my life. I used this wonderful tool he gave me and lost the weight. Yes, I do need to gain about 20 pounds and I'm trying very hard to do that. I weighed in at exactly 100 pounds this morning. I feel as if God has given me a second chance at life. I embrace it, I embrace Him every day.

Happy One-Year re-birthday. You have accomplished so much and I am sure in time you will get that 20 pounds back on. Just increase your carb intake and maybe if you can your calories. Do you have a nutrionist at your surgeons office? If so maybe you should make arrangements with her our ask your surgeons office to maybe recommend one that could help you.
