Christmas Party
Okay, I had my 6-week checkup yesterday. Kelly made sure to give me a new schedule that covers November and December and she pointed out the Christmas Party. I told her that we had been talking about it on the forum and there was a Secret Santa thing being organized. She liked that. She told me thought that the office needs a sort of head count of how many were going to be there so they can prepare properly. Spouses, kids, etc are welcome.....and yes so are pre-ops!
According to the office scale I am down 44 pounds, which Kelly thought was fantastic. She checked out my possible hernia and we are gonna watch it carefully, not sure if it even is one yet. Let's hope it isn't.
I have noticed I can eat more now. Even managed some cheese last night (taking Lactaid first). I feel great now! That is the only thing I was really missing. Today I am poking at my lunch and telling myself it it delicious. The mind isn't listening. Sigh.

Yeah
Glad to hear about kissing those 44 pounds good bye... forever! Woo hoo sister. Hey hernias arent all that bad, if ya get one.... you can get a tummy tuck too when you want it repaired. (I try to see optimism in everything!) Thanks for the low down at the X mas party, I wonder if they will do a head count at this months meeting? We'll have to play it by ear.......
Keep up the great work sugar pea! See ya tomorrow night!

Tricia,
Thanks for the 411 on the party. It sounds like it is going to be a very full house!

Pam and Bridget,
Sounds that way to me too. Kelly says we might get to meet their families, that would be cool!

Christina,
Did I do a DUH moment? So sorry!! It is December 16th. Just so happens that is my son's birthday, and he won't be here this year for it so it will be nice to have something to occupy my mind that night!

Hi guys,
I'd like to attend this Christmas party. I live 2 hrs away. If anyone could give me details as far as date, time and place I would appreciate it. It's been about a year I think since I've been down there. I'd like to meet a few people.
Thanks
Ed
