Default 5 more lbs to go to reach 200

I just had to toot my horn for a moment. I stepped on the scale this morning and weighed 138 pounds. This means that in 5 more lbs I will have lost 200 pounds since my surgery. I saw my PCP on Monday and weighed 143 then. When I mentioned that I only had 10 more pounds to hit the double century mark she chewed my butt out and said that I need to stop losing!!! I just started laughing and said I bet she'd have never thought she'd be saying that to me. She also told me that it is "just a number", but to me it is a very important number. When I began this journey I told myself that if I could get down to 200 lbs and a comfortable size 16 I would be very happy. Well, two years later I am a comfortable size 8 or 10 depending on material and cut and down almost 200 lbs. I do not have a single regret and would do this on a annual basis if needed. Every day I thank God, Dr Callery and the wonderful friends I have made thru this process. There are so many of you who have been the "wind beneath my wings" and I love and appreciate you so much

Pammie girl~~

This is way cool news and you have every right to toot your horn. As for the doctors telling you to stop losing...well, they said the same thing to me and I told them I would level up and I have. I don't weigh 103 anymore...I leave that statistic because that was when I was rock bottom. My body loses weight with every surgery and then I level back up no matter how hard I try to stay thin. It freaks me out because I feel comfortable at 110 and I have been hanging out at 118. I can tell the difference.

I am so dang proud of you and I know your excitement. You have taken me under your wing during my journey along with so many others and I couldn't be more thrilled for you. Gosh, it was just yesterday when we were hugging each other early post-op...and would you ever think at that time that we would be where we are today? Thanks in return for always supporting Tino and I.

Love ya and many congrats to you.
Dale
