Default how proud!

Pam, I'm so glad I got to have you on my side supporting me and cheering me on. Now it's time for me to applaud you! You rock my friend. I missed you at the East County meeting, hope to hug your skinny self soon! You are a major role model, walking the talk, giving back to the peeps.

Oh, and the "wind beneath my wings stuff"? It's really just the gas from all the protein.....

Dontcha hate it sometimes that you wish there were new ways to say how inspiring someone is? I start to feel like it is just words....but I truly mean them. Pam, this is truly an amazing thing from an amazing person.

Default Celebration anyone?

It occurs to me that we should have a gathering of those of us who have taken the brave step to conquer MO. We should have it here in SoCal, since there are so many of us here. I know the Obesity Help folks are having a gather in San Diego in January, as some other out of state losers are coming in for it, and I have been invited to join.

Since I am in the throes of helping Sarah plan her wedding, it would be easy peasy for me to put together a lovely "doings" here in town. After the New Year, when hotels etc are not so busy and more willing to bargain on the space. There are so many of you that I would like to hug in person, it would be cool. And just imagine the amount of self confidence and love in the room! Is anyone up for something like that? We could even have house parties and just reserve blocks of rooms without the expense of renting a banquet room.

Like maybe $50-100 per person would generate a lot of funds to do some fun stuff--going to the zoo, beach bonfire, the possibilities are endless, and I give really good party. Would anyone be interested?

I just started laughing and said I bet she'd have never thought she'd be saying that to me. She also told me that it is "just a number", but to me it is a very important number. When I began this journey I told myself that if I could get down to 200 lbs and a comfortable size 16 I would be very happy. Well, two years later I am a comfortable size 8 or 10 depending on material and cut and down almost 200 lbs. I do not have a single regret and would do this on a annual basis if needed. Every day I thank God, Dr Callery and the wonderful friends I have made thru this process. There are so many of you who have been the "wind beneath my wings" and I love and appreciate you so much
Pam, it is people like you who make me know that I will meet my goal one day. I too want to lose a total of 205 pounds and at the start of this I honestly wasn't sure I could ever make it there. But then I see someone like you and you inspire me to keep reaching for my goal because it is possible to get there!

Congratulations, Pam! What you have done with the help of God and so many others is nothing more than miraculous! I mean that!
