OT - Totally Dumb Question
How much do you tip the pizza delivery guy? I tip 20-25% at restaurants...but never know what to tip the delivery guy. I gave him $3 bucks...the place is right around the corner...he looked at me like I had two heads...how much did he want?
Oh and before I get any comments that I shouldn't be eating pizza...I ordered a salad for me and pizza for the kids. I could just not bring myself to cook tonight since hubby has to work late!!

I think 3-5$ is fine, unless you have a HUGE order for a party of something...at least he didn't burn the $3 getting to your house!

What was he thinking...at least he got a tip. Sometimes, depending on where you order, they include a driver fee..like $1.50. I tip on top of that...usually 15%. I was in the restaurant business for years and remember the various ways people tipped. Maybe the pizza driver was having a bad hair day or something.

I forgot to tell you...I get comments about eating pizza....and I eat it anyway. I just eat a little bit..mostly the toppings. It keeps me feeling normal.

I eat it too every so often, but not a regularthing like before. I do eat a little crust if if I am or have worked out that day, and if not, its just the toppings for me.

OK.. now I feel cheap..LOL I usually only give like a dollar tip.. because I know that they are already getting a delivery fee.. and they are like next door.. but I have always just given an extra dollar or so - that was what I was told, as they were not regular 15-20% people.. dunno

$3 sounds generous to me. It is not like he's been serving your needs for the last hour and a half like a waiter or waitress would!!! I wish I could eat pizza.......a couple bites of even just the topping has me hating life for an hour or more. I have tried it a couple of times hoping maybe it was just a fluke...no such luck! I miss pizza. Just too greasy for me now. I used to love the "white" pizzas with artichoke on them.......mmmmmmmm. Memories! Oh man, I just remembered the "stuft crust" ones from Pizza Hut. Ok, I'll stop now and go make myself a protein smoothie.

Now this one I can commiserate with y'all on! I'm lactose intolerant so no more pizza for me! EVER! Pam-I just about drool everytime the stuffed crust commercial comes on!
Hahahaha-the other day we went to a little Mexican joint and I couldn't decide what to have so I asked for a quesadilla, but could they hold the cheese...until I remembered that that's practically all a quesadilla is!! Total blonde moment!

Stuffed cheese crust is the best. My kids like the DiGornio one with cheese in the crust. I just cut off the crust and eat that...they get mad at me because that is the best part..LOL
Pizza Hut makes stuff crust pizza. Ok, I will quit advertising junk...Key is moderation for me.
