Unhappy Clumsy Mommie Syndrome

OK ladies please tell me I am not the only one that has gone through this.

So since I have turned 8 months I have become so dang clumsy. Yesterday I fall while crossing the street on my way to work and I also fell the night before that trying to walk over my husband who was on the floor. God I was so scared. I wasn't even worried if I might have broken my wrist while trying to brace my self all I could think about was my baby OK. Even when I fell in the middle of the street I hurt my back but all I could think about was Jendaya.
I am OK. I left work and went to go see my OB to make sure all was well with my little bumble bee. She is fine and great(THANK GOD). I am starting to notice how feisty she really is. My doctor was checking her heart rate and when he put the Doppler of my stomach she started kicking where the Doppler was. She has done that before when we went to the hospital she also kicked the monitor alot when they have me plugged in. She even kicked the ultrasound Tech while he was doing my ultrasound..lol I don't know if she doesn't like to be touched or she just is very picky about her space.

Wow, that must have been SOOOO scary! I'm so grateful that everything is fine. I'm sure it happens all the time - it's got to be hard to adjust to carrying all of that weight right in the front of your body. ((HUG))

Default Poor thing

I know you were scared, but our bodies are made to keep those babies safe. Small falls (I know they don't feel small at the time) are rarely a problem. I fell a few times with my first and he was absolutely fine. I don't remember falling with my second, but I guess things progressed more steadily with her - can't remember!

Anyway, I'm glad you're calm and know all is well. The Lord is looking out for you and your wee one and you have so many people thinking of you here on the forum - must be angels all around you by this point! So try to relax but maybe take it easy too! Your balance is all thrown off with pregnancy - just slow down a little now. You deserve it!!

I am just so excited for you - can't wait to see the pictures of that sweet baby. Not long now - I hope you're excited and not too worried!

I am ALWAYS clumsy so pregnancy didn't affect it! I am glad your bumble bee is ok, she is well protected in the tum-tum so don't worry :-)

I think a lot of preggo mommies get clumsy, they're carrying more than they're used to, and at your stage, your ligaments are beginning to loosen up to allow you to give birth. I'm so glad you're both okay!

I had a pretty big fall when I was 8 months with my first child too. I was at work and had to go to the bldg. next door to hunt down a chart and was coming out the door behind a nurse (she was about 8 feet in front) and it was cold and freezing rain out and I stepped on the cement sidewalk and my feet started going every direction. I went fowards for what seemed like an eternity and then thought I had composed myself and then out of the blue I was falling foward and landed on my hands, knees, and tummy. Scared me to death! But I was fine after my nerves calmed down. We actually laughed about it later because by the time I actually made it to the ground, I had caught up to the nurse and was reaching for her back to try and stay up! LOL I fell right behind her feet. If I had kept going, I would have taken her out with me! LOL

Yep, I feel while pregnant with my first too! My Dr. made me have an ultrasound to make sure she was okay since the fall was a hard one. She was fine...Gina's right, our bodies are made to protect them!!

I am glad you are ok. Your whole center of gravity is off.

I used to play this game at your stage of pregnancy. I would sit in the recliner with my shirt up and poke at the baby to make them poke back. It was so cool to see the body parts pop up.
