Hi Everyone,
Forgive my pandering but this is a cause close to my heart and I will do anything to help resolve and find a cure for this terrible disease. This will be my first walk since WLS and I am up for it!! If anyone is interested in sponsoring me the info is at the bottom of the page. Thanks much!
Hello,
Dear Friends and Family,
This is a cause close to my heart since my Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease a few weeks ago.
On November 13, 2004 I will be walking at Balboa Park for the 14th annual Memory Walk benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association-San Diego Chapter. Close to 2,000 walkers and over 140 volunteers will participate in this exciting event being held throughout the Nation.
I have decided to participate in the Memory Walk because I want to make a difference in the lives of those that are coping with this disease. There are currently 50,000 individuals in San Diego and Imperial Counties who are afflicted with Alzheimer’s and approximately 240,000 family members and caregivers.
The Alzheimer’s Association is a non-profit voluntary health organization whose mission is to increase public awareness, support research for the cause and cure of Alzheimer’s disease and to provide support and assistance for afflicted individuals and their families.
With your help, I hope to make a difference in the lives of those with Alzheimer’s disease by helping the Alzheimer’s Association. The proceeds raised will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association and the thousands of families affected by the disease. The fundraising goal I have set is $300. If you would like to contribute, please fill out the form under Sponsor Participant. Every little bit helps and your contribution is 100% tax deductible.
Thank you for your consideration,
Pam Bragg
