Eminem...hummm...I have some of his stuff...I should add a couple of his more 'upbeat' ones to my line up.. Thanks for that one!

Seriously...NO Rockers out there??? COME ON....I know I am not the only 80's Metal Head alive...LOL!! Hello...Camero Heads...time to come out of the closet!! hehehe
I love Monster Ballads...does that count??

If by "rocker" you mean metal head then I'm certainly out. I'd say my music is pretty rocking, but it's not likely to give me whiplash. I'm too old to want to listen to music that's that angry anymore.

Too OLD??? TOO OLD??? Your younger than I AM!!! Sheese!!! Heck, my music isn't angry...but it has lively beats...very lively! Like Bounce by System of a Down (it's about pogo sticks...and bouncing around on them...not angry stuff) for instance...that's about a 4 - 4.5 MPH speed on a treadmill....That's what I mean. I can't walk 4.5 mph to say...a John Denver song. That's what I was meaning. I can't head bang while walking either silly...I would fall off the darn thing! HAHAHA

Yes. Too old. I've no patience for listening to yelling and screaming about whatever. I did that till I was 25 or so. I'm much happier to listen to music with a melody now. And I don't do treadmills. On my bike I have a mix of uptempo songs and slower songs so I can vary my riding speeds. If I'm listening to say... Where am I by Redd Kross and I can get up to 20 or so MPH. Then I get some Willie Nelson or John Denver and slow it down to 12 or 13.

But Slipknot or SOD just gets on my nerves. Definitely not my cup of tea. But if it helps you work out then that's great!

Lately I'm big into Linkin Park. I need more angry music so I can get it out of my system.

That's how I used to be. Then as I got older I found I wasn't able to maintain the levels of anger that used to sustain me That's when I switched to happy music. You'd be surprised at how happy AND energetic They Might Be Giants can make you feel.

Oh good...Here I thought I was the only one who needed it...Phew...I feel loads better now, thanks Whit!!

Hey Dave...another Iowian and Slipknot fan. Who'd a thunk it!! LOL!!

I'll have to add some some ACDC and listen to Stonesour and Facecage...I'm not familiar with them...

Whitestripes?? Not sure I know of them either. Apparently, I am sheltered.

Who is Redd Kross?
