I had the pleasure of going to Hawaii (Maui) 6 weeks before GBS and 1 year after (Oahu/Waikiki). They were both exqusite trips and I wouldn't change a thing. If I am ever blessed enough to get to go a third time it will either be Kauai or Maui again. In Waikiki while we were there (July 05)my son & daughter in law renewed their wedding vows with Diamondhead in the background. It was awesome. What was so cool was my surgery was 7/7/(04) and they renewed their vows on their 7 year, 7 month, 7th day wedding anniversary. I like 7's now!

I Hiked Diamond Head This Weekend!!!!
THREE MONTHS AGO, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME. I TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE KIDS, I WOULD HAVE BEEN DRAGGING HIM UP FOR A SECOND TRIP. NEEDLESS TO SAY, HE WAS VERY THANKFUL AT THAT MOMENT FOR OUR FOUR KIDS!!! 
I KNOW THIS ISN'T THE WOW MOMENTS THREAD, BUT THIS WOULD DEFINATELY COUNT AS A WOW MOMENT!!!
