Default H2o

Hello Marcy! I am almost 12 weeks out & now I can barely tolarate water. The first month was very hard, I had to drink just liquid cause that was what my doctor told me to do. In almost 12 weeks I think I have only dranked like 2 gallons of water, not alot. But we are all different and since you love water maybe with time and within some weeks you will be able to drink your big glasses of water, just need to be a little patient with this. But that is so good you love water.

This is totally normal early postop. It will get better. It was one of the most frustrating early postop problem for me. Hang in there!

Default Water, Water everywhere and not a drop to drink!

I have always been a huge fan of water - my drink of choice. I was feeling like you in the beginning and thinking how am I going to get 64 oz. of water in me everyday. I can drink alot more water now than I could at one week out. I can now take two big gulps. There is hope!
