Sorry guys I need to vent........

So to make a long story short I got promoted at work, great. I got a new showroom, great. I got the bad ass associate that thought he knew it all, not so great.

We have been dealing with his insubordination and horrible attitude for weeks. The reason I had to deal with this for so long was because he had been playing the racial and harassment card with everyone he has worked with for the last 4 years. Corporate had to walk on egg shells with him, but yesterday the ball FINALLY dropped! I was preparing a write up for him and when it was presented the devil came out yet again. He started cursing and yelling and we finally got him to leave. Well after many phone calls later he was fired and came back to the showroom to give me his keys. He is a violent guy and can be quite scary when he is in one of his manic moods. He asked the other associate in the showroom to leave so he could be alone with me. I immediately said no she is staying here. Then he started yelling "fat pig fat pig you are nothing but a fat pig!" After about 20 times of him yelling that over and over again he left when we started to call the police.

Wow it was crazy. I just sat back and listened giving him no reaction. He knows I have lost 106 pound and what I have gone through. I know the only reason he said those things was to TRY to get under my skin. I know it is not true.....anymore.

I know this is OT but I had to share. Pre-op this would have torn me up. Now, I am 8 months out and know that those words are not true. Geez it was funny to watch a 40 year old man act like a 5 year old........

Wow - fun day at work, huh? He sounds like a psycho! He's probably all bark and no bite, but do be careful for a while - look over your shoulder when getting into your car, etc. Better safe than sorry. And if you do see him, get a restraining order. You had a witness when he was yelling at you (good thinking, girl!)

He's an insecure jerk, and he made an extremely lame attempt at trying to get back at you (like all of it was YOUR fault, and not HIS!) It's sad, really, that people are like that. Hopefully he has some time now to search his soul and find out what his problem is.

Wow - sorry you had to deal with that. Great job on keeping your cool and not adding fuel to the fire. Document absolutely everything that was said, and get statements from whoever else was there in case he still tries to play his "cards" all of your ducks are in a row. Also, as protection, and as added documentation against him in case he tries to come back, try to get a restraining order - you were the harassed one, not him, but the restraining order will protect you from two ends.

I am glad that chapter of your work life is over - hopefully there will be less stressful days ahead of you Hang in there, love - and it is true that NOTHING he said was true because you are skinny and GORGEOUS!!!

Can't he be more creative. Sorry you had such a bad day. I am glad you were so composed about the whole situation. My ex calls me fat when he wants to hurt me...he never once called me fat our entire relationship...but when we broke up and I LOST weight now he calls me fat...go figure.
