Default Taco Bell Nutrition Calculator

I was just on the Taco Bell site investigating nutritional facts because I was going to get some lunch at Taco Bell. While I was on the site I discovered that they have this great interactive nutritional calculator. You can use it to figure out the nutritional facts for all of their menu items. What is really great about it is that you can customize your choices and find out what the nutritional facts are for the customized items. For example I wanted to eat a taco but only eat the insides of it. I just put in that I wanted a taco without the shell and it told me the nutritional facts for it. I just found it really helpful to look at it before I went so I could plan what I was going to order.

Just thought you may want to check it out if you are a Taco Bell lover.

Thanks for the info, Megan! I just find it really helpful to see what we can eliminate from some of these fast foods to make it something healthier for us. We travel during the summer months and sometimes we end up at a fast food place for lunch.

Very cool! I hate it when I end up somewhere and want to make a good choice and am not sure which is best. Thanks guys.

Unhappy RE: Fast Food Lovers

Dear Fast Food Lovers,

Taco Bell, Burger King, McDonalds, Long John Silver, Kentucky Fried Chicken. You must be joking. These are the last places a Gastric Bypass patient wants to eat at. Not only is the food loaded with fat regardless if you just eat the insides, there are a lot better choices that you can make that will help you achieve your weight loss goals. Our doctor always asked if you could taste the metal? When we asked what he meant, he said that eating at these places was like sticking a gun in your mouth. Try to avoid at all costs. I know it is hard, but these places are what got everyone over weight in the first place.

Stay Healthy,

Dennis

Rarely do I eat at any of these.......but when I do I want to know what choice I am making. I know what "got me here" and black/white, all or nothing thinking was a big part of it FOR ME. If Taco Bell or KFC was a main reason another person was MO and for them it is a trigger, then by all means they could choose to totally abstain. But I pick and choose which things I can indulge in, how often, in what quantities for myself, or with my Physician or Nutritionist. There are many things I have given up totally, and many I just limit. Please refrain from lumping us all together and telling us what "got us here". It just doesn't set well with me.

I second that Marty, my problem has always been portion control, not constant fast food reseraunts. That's one reason I love my new tool, helps with protion control.
