Shrimp Cocktail Soup
I've been cutting out recipes that I come across that are relatively healthy and not too difficult (cooking is NOT my hobby). I haven't tried this one yet, but it sounds good and I know lots of you love seafood.
4 quarts (16 cups) water (you can substitute canned tomatoes for part)
1 cup ketchup
1 Tbs horseradish
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp Tabasco or other hot sauce
1 Tbs salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Cayenne pepper to taste
1 lb shrimp (or more if you like)
Garnishes: Avocado, chopped cilantro
Combine all ingredients except shrimp and garnishes......bring to a boil. Lower to a simmer and cook 15 minutes. Add shrimp and simmer till tender. Adjust seasonings as desired. To serve, garnish with cilantro and avocado.
